About the ACT
The ACT is a standardized test used for college admissions in the United States. Following the upcoming changes to the test structure, the enhanced ACT includes English, Reading, and Math as the core required sections. Science and Writing are offered as optional components, giving students more flexibility depending on their college interests and requirements.
- English — Tests standard written English, including grammar, punctuation, sentence structure, and rhetorical skills.
- Reading — Tests reading comprehension and logical reasoning across various passages.
- Science — Tests interpretation, analysis, evaluation, reasoning, and problem-solving skills in natural sciences.
How to Register
Register at act.org. The ACT without writing costs $68; with the optional writing section, $93. Scores are reported on a 1–36 scale for each section and as a composite.
About Our Practice Tests
